Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was from Miami Florida. The daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. She is the daughter of an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother is of Spanish and English roots. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's prior marriage. After having lived with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. Taylor-Joy stated she was difficult and that she was unable to go back to school in English as she wanted to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she switched from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. At 16, she left school in order to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actor from a young age. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
